I may have been getting ready for my New Years Eve night out a week ago, but I still thought that I’d like to share with you all what I wore as I really loved how the outfit came together.
Both the top and trousers were from Pretty Little Thing which is the perfect website if you’re looking for a new outfit for a night out. The top is a metallic knitted crop top which was in the sale for £8 (you can find it here) and is probably one of the riskiest tops I’ve ever gone for. Due to the style of the top I had to go braless for the first time which was pretty scary to be honest, considering the fastening for the top was three ties at the back. However, with the help of nipple covers and body tape the top managed to stay in place all night which was a relief. The top comes in one size which also worried me a little, however it fitted me nearly perfectly (I’m a size 8 on my top half) and would fit women of other sizes too as the ties at the back allow you to adjust the top to your own fit. The colour itself is a bronze/ rose gold tone which looks stunning, I had so many compliments throughout the night which was lovely.
I paired the top with some black trousers which you can find here which are called black slinky wide legged trousers. I was slightly worried when I ordered these as I thought they might not be very flattering since they were described as wide legged, however they were perfect. They were tight around my bum and the top of my legs and gracefully draped over the rest of my legs, so ended up looking very flattering for my figure. I ordered mine in a size 8 petite as I’m 5 ft 4 and that was the height of the model. I found these trousers still to be a little long though, so I had to wear heels so they didn’t touch the floor. The heels I wore aren’t pictured but I just wore a pair from New Look which you can find here.
My earring were from the Lovisa store in Westfield however, I unfortunately can’t find them online. Here’s the link to their website if you’d like to have a look, as they have so many beautiful pieces on there.
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post.
