The past couple of years I’ve missed out on the Boots 70% off sale, however this year I managed to get to Boots on the day it began so there was plenty of stock left. The sale began Friday, and I picked up quite a few bits, with a few being for myself and the rest being presents for birthdays this year.
The first thing I was drawn to were the Soap and Glory gift sets; the one I picked up was the ‘Hello Super Spa’ set which was £6 down from £20 and contains six products. It contains: the Righteous Butter creamy body wash (250ml), the Righteous Butter body butter (200ml), Sugar Crush Fresh and Foamy body wash (250ml), the Scrub of Your Life body buffer (50ml), Soap and Clarity face wash (50ml), and a Sexy Mother Pucker lip gloss in Candy Queen. For so many products this gift set really was a bargain, I’ve tried a few of these products before and loved them, you cannot fault Soap and Glory products as they look stunning and always make your skin feel amazing.
The next few items I picked up are from the Zoella Lifestyle range, which had some super cute bits. The first items I picked up were the Zoella Lifestyle Festive Cookie Fragranced Candle which was £3.75 down from £12.50, and the Festive Cookie Reed Diffuser which was £4.20 down from £14. I’ve always liked the look of the Zoella candles and reed diffusers, however they always seemed a tad expensive for what they were, which led to me being very keen to give them a go when they were on offer. The Festive Cookie scent is really lovely, especially for anyone like myself who loves sweet scented candles. The next Zoella item I picked up was the This is Your Year Desk Calendar, which is very pretty and will look lovely on my desk in my room at university. It is made up of a wooden stand and twelve cards, one for each month of the year which each have a different quote on in rose gold lettering. This calendar was £3, down from £10. The next item from the Zoella Lifestyle range is also to go on my desk, as it’s the weekly goal organiser which consists of different sticky notes to try and keep you organised, which was one of the my New Years Resolutions so hopefully this will help me. This was also £3 down from £10.
Sleek always have beautiful gift sets, so I couldn’t help treating myself to two of them when they were on such a good offer. The first one is called Pout For Perfection and contains one their highlighting palettes in Solstice and a matte me metallic lip cream in Roman Copper. This set was originally £12.50, however I paid £3.75 which is a bargain considering Sleek highlighting palettes are usually £9.99. I also picked up the Sleek Pout and Polish set in Birthday Suit, which contains a liquid lipstick and nail polish in the shade Birthday Suit which is the perfect nude colour. This set was £2.55. Sleek’s liquid lipsticks are definitely my favourite from the drugstore and I have quite a collection of them now.
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed taking a look at the bits I picked up in the sale, let me know in the comments if any of you managed to pick any bargains up!
