Student Union Night Out: What I Wore

As a student, I tend to go on a fair few night outs with our student union night being on a Friday at the Old Fire Station in Bournemouth. I thought I’d share the outfit I wore on a night out a couple of weeks ago with you which mainly consists of clothes from Pretty Little Thing.

The top is the Shape Wine Velvet Bralet which I’m wearing in a size 8 and is £10. I love velvet, and think it’s nice to include different textures within an outfit. This bralet is super flattering and due to being quite tight it accentuates a particular area.  It is quite short so is best paired with high waisted trousers or jeans.

The trousers I have paired this bralet with are the Perlita Black Paperbag Skinny Trousers which are also in a size 8. These trousers are both comfy and flattering, and I much prefer to wear these rather than jeans on a night out now. Jeans can often be quite restricting, however these have a lot of elasticity which helps them be a lot more comfortable. The frill detailing at the top is cute, and adds that extra detailing to a rather basic outfit. These trousers also have as tie around the waist and these were £15. Pretty Little Thing also have these available in petite; for reference I am 5 foot 4 and wear the regular ones and they fitted fine length wise.

My earrings are also from Pretty Little Thing and are the Wren Rose Gold Hexagon Earrings which were £4. I love wearing hoop earrings on a night out, however it’s nice to change it up a bit sometimes so these hexagonal earrings were perfect.

My heels were from New Look in the sale quite a while ago so I unfortunately cannot find a link for these.

Thanks for reading, I hope you enjoyed this post. You can read my last ‘What I Wore’ post here.
