The first month of 2018 is already over, which calls for me to share with you the beauty products I’d been loving throughout January. This month’s favourites include some products I’ve loved for a while, as well as a couple of new products which I discovered last month.
The first product I’m going to be telling you about is one I’ve loved for quite a while and always make sure I’m stocked up on, and is the Garnier Moisture Bomb Tissue Mask. Tissue masks have exploded in popularity over the past couple of years, particularly within high end brands which is why it’s wonderful that affordable brands such as Garnier have their own tissue masks. Garnier seem to do a few variants of this mask now, however this one which is for dry and sensitive skin and contains chamomile is the only one I’ve given a go. My skin is dry all year round, but is slightly worse during the winter months, so this mask a perfect for giving my skin that extra surge of moisture it needs. This masks leave my skins feeling moisturised and beautifully soft, and really is a bargain at £2.99.
A product which was new to me in January was the Batiste Rose Gold Dry Shampoo. Dry shampoo used to be staple for me a couple of years ago, however I stopped using it and started washing my hair nearly everyday. I picked this up as I’ve been trying to get out of the habit of washing my hair everyday so needed a dry shampoo for those days where my hair is a unwashed mess. The packaging of this dry shampoo is beautiful and would naturally draw the attention of any rose gold lover. The smell is also lovely and is both fresh and fruity, leaving your hair smelling lovely and no longer feeling unwashed and quite frankly disgusting.
Another product which was a new discovery in January was Zoella’s Bake My Day Body Mist. This body mist came in one of Zoella’s Christmas sets which I picked up in the sale from Superdrug and it unfortunately not sold on its own; Superdrug still have the gift set available on their website though for £4.99. This scent is beautiful and is one I have been loving all of last month; it smells of gingerbread and vanilla and smells almost good enough to eat. The small size of the body mist makes it super easy to chuck this in your handbag so you can top up on this scent throughout the day.
The Sleek Matte Me Liquid Lipsticks have been a favourite of mine for quite a while (I will be doing a review of them in a post soon), however my favourite shade is Shabby Chic which is the most beautiful pinky nude colour. This shade is both perfect for in the day and for an evening make up look. The staying power is also incredible, these really are difficult to budge, and for £4.99 this lipstick also a bargain.
The final product I’ve been loving recently is the L’Oreal True Match Concealer, which I decided to give a go a couple of months ago after falling in love with the True Match Foundation. This concealer is in the shade Vanilla, and is perfect for my pale skin. It’s super creamy and blends beautifully over both blemishes and under the eye.
Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this post, let me know which products you’ve been loving throughout January.
